Government Medical College – Pali Chapter, Rajasthan, India

The Government Medical College (GMC), Pali, established in 2017, has rapidly emerged as one of the leading new medical colleges in Rajasthan. With a strong academic foundation that includes undergraduate and postgraduate programs, experienced faculty, dedicated nursing students, and committed healthcare staff, GMC Pali fosters a comprehensive community of health professionals who recognize the critical importance of breast health and breast cancer awareness. In line with this vision, GMC Pali has taken a proactive step to address Breast Cancer in Young Women (BCYW) by establishing a dedicated Young Cancer and Breast Health (YCBH) chapter. This initiative highlights the college’s commitment to advocacy, education, and the dissemination of current information on breast health. The current leadership of the Institute, comprising the Principal and Controller, strongly supports this cause and is proud to contribute to this vital effort, recognizing it as a pressing public health need.

As part of our ongoing commitment, GMC Pali pledges to conduct regular awareness sessions and community engagement meetings. Special emphasis will be placed during October, aligning with global Breast Cancer Awareness Month, to educate, empower, and reach out to women in the surrounding communities, ensuring they are informed, vigilant, and supported in matters of breast health.
