Doon University in Dehradun is a prominent university located in the foothills of the Himalayas in Northern India. The university hosted a high-profile breast cancer awareness event on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, organized by the Breast Cancer in Young Women Foundation’s global ambassador, Col Mayank Chaubey (Rtd.). Central to the event was the launch of the Youth Council for Breast Health (YCBH), a student-led initiative aimed at empowering young women across Uttarakhand with practical knowledge about breast health and preventing breast cancer.
