In observance of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Amrita College of Nursing launched the “Breast Cancer in Young Women Foundation Chapter” on October 14, 2025. The initiative aims to raise awareness about breast cancer among young women and to promote early detection through education and empowerment. On this occasion, Dr. Rakesh Kumar, Founder and CEO of the Breast Cancer in Young Women Foundation, sensitized students about breast cancer awareness, while Dr. Radhika Adholeya, Founder–CEO of FemWorld, emphasized the importance of regular breast self-examination for early detection.
