YCBH Chapters
In Phase 1, the BCYW Foundation introduced the YCBH Chapter program by partnering directly with potential campuses or country-specific leaders and co-leaders. Operating across networks in 27 countries, this BCYW Foundation often collaborates with local organizations and existing or new partners to enhance its reach and impact.
YCBH chapters empower young adults on campuses worldwide by providing essential resources and current information to prevent breast cancer, foster global connections with fellow chapters, and improve outcomes for young women diagnosed with the disease. These volunteer-led BCYWF initiatives extend beyond the traditional focus of Pink October, promoting year-round awareness of breast health. They encourage self-care, highlight risk factors, and advocate for impactful lifestyle changes to reduce breast cancer risks.
Each chapter is a student- or youth-led initiative supported by local faculty, young breast cancer survivors, community leaders, healthcare professionals, and other experts. Together, they inspire proactive action for breast health and wellness. Through the YCBH Chapter program, the BCYW Foundation is shaping a future where young people are empowered to lead healthier lives and become advocates for a breast cancer-free world.
