NKI / Amsterdam UMC Chapter
Antoni van Leeuwenhoek – Netherlands Cancer Institute – Amsterdam UMC Chapter, The Netherlands
About the chapter
The Antoni van Leeuwenhoek – Netherlands Cancer Institute, founded in 1913, is a comprehensive cancer center with the mission of “a cure for every cancer and excellent care for every patient.” In the breast clinic, we strive to implement our research findings directly into daily clinical practice. One of our research areas focuses on the prevention and early detection of breast cancer. With this chapter, we aim to increase awareness of breast cancer among young women.
