Hamad Medical Corporation, Doha, Qatar Chapter

Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) is the leading national public healthcare provider and a prominent leader in medical education, training, and research. The breast cancer field is led by Dr. Artefaa Al-Shamari, Head of the Department of Oncoplastic Breast Surgery, Ambassador of Qatar Cancer Society, Chairwoman of Qatar Breast Cancer Association, and an advocate for the outreach mission of the BCYW Foundation in Qatar and beyond. For example, the team organized the Qatar chapter on October 19, 2025, to raise awareness within the community and among the younger generation.
