Students at Memorial benefit from a rich array of extracurricular opportunities, including counseling and career services, health and wellness programs, academic advising, state-of-the-art labs, recreation facilities, and a variety of clubs and volunteer organizations. The Youth Council for Breast Health (YCBH) chapter at Memorial was established by a group of students under the guidance of Dr. Sheila Garland in the Sleep, Health, and Wellness Lab, which specializes in behavioral sleep medicine and psychosocial oncology research. While the chapter originated within that faculty, it actively seeks to engage students from all academic backgrounds and disciplines.
